We are well aware that staying out of the sun entirely is an impossible task and also not healthy but whenever you go outside avoid midday sun, seek shade and use a sunscreen.</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Where to use sunscreen?</strong></span><br />
The general rule should be that you cover every part of your body with sunscreen that might be exposed to sun light. Certain parts of your body have a special risk of getting burned since they are more exposed areas of your body than others. These so called <strong><em>sun terraces </em></strong>are:</p>
<p><strong>Standing body:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><em>ehead</em></li>
<li><em>cheekbone</em></li>
<li><em>bridge of the nose</em></li>
<li><em>lower lip</em></li>
<li><em>top of the ear</em></li>
<li><em>shoulders</em></li>
<li><em>outside of the arms</em></li>
<li><em>back of the hand</em></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>While sitting you should also protect your</strong><em> upper leg.</em></p>
<h2><span style="color:#ff0000;">Sunscreen</span></h2>
<p><strong>You need to use a sunsc</strong><strong>reen because it protects your skin from UV damage and sunburn. Sunscreens are over-the-counter products that come in lotions, gels, ointments and sprays. The strength of the sunscreen protection is measured as SPF&#8211;or sun protection factor&#8211;which typically ranges from 15 to 45. The higher the SPF value, the greater the protection. However, this is not a true linear relationship&#8211;a SPF of 30 is not twice as effective as an SPF of 15.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Everyone needs sunscreen when outdoors for more than 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. or if they&#8217;re in direct sunlight coming through a window (UVA rays pass through glass). You should wear UV protection on cloudy days, too.</strong></p>
<h2><span style="color:#ff0000;">How to Use</span></h2>
<p><strong>Apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before going outdoors. Cover all areas of the skin that will be exposed to the sun&#8217;s rays. Apply liberally. Most people, including children, need about 1 oz. of product to cover exposed areas sufficiently. Reapply every two hours. If you are swimming, reapply more frequently.</strong></p>

<h1><span style="color:#ff0000;">How to use a self-tanner</span></h1>
<p><span style="color:#000000;">It is possible to get a light tan, not a lot of people want to look orange. For a light tan you just want to get a self tanner that looks light! </span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"> How to apply it;</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> First,</em> take a shower. Wash your body with an exfoliating body wash. Pay attention to the parts of your skin that are more thick and/or stretchy like the underarms, elbows, bikini line, heels, &amp; the top of your feet.</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> Second</em>, pat your skin dry. </span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> Third,</em> In circular motions start applying the self tanner &amp; start at the top of your feet. Pay extra attention to the parts that you exfoliated well (underarms, elbows, bikini line, heels, &amp; the top of your feet) since these areas tend to get darker.</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"> Fourth, watch the time! Make sure that you stop applying after 5 minutes. Then wash your hands with soap &amp; warm water.</span></p>
<p><em>Fifth,</em><span style="color:#000000;"> continue working the self tanner up to you neck. Make sure you don&#8217;t miss any spots like the back of your hands, inside of your wrists, &amp; the sides of your torso. Make sure you stop every 5 minutes &amp; wash your hands.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><em> Sixth,</em> apply the tanner onto your neck and face but make sure you don&#8217;t miss the hairline.</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> Seven,</em> your finally done applying it. Wash your hands one more time! If any parts are to dark apply a little lotion to the area to lighten it up.</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> Eight,</em> wait 15 minutes or more. Stand with your arms straight out to avoid any creased tan lines.</span><br />
<span style="color:#000000;"><em> Nine</em>, when you’re dry put on loose fitting clothing. Wait 2 to 3 hours &amp; then you will start seeing the color show up.</span></p>

It is no wonder that breath is considered the universal energy in yogic practices. In many cultures, breathing techniques are considered as “the essence of being”.</p>
<p>Our skin needs oxygen in order to stay healthy and youthful. As we age, these oxygen levels are becoming depleted, so skin cells can not renew themselves as fast as they used to. Oxygen also plays a vital roll in expelling toxins.</p>
<p>High levels of oxygen in your skin will improve elasticity, keeping away fine lines and wrinkles, as well as stimulating collagen production. <p>This exercise will go a long way to improving your skin and over all health. An unpolluted environment and healthy diet will be even more beneficial. <p>The correlation between your diet and acne has been heavily debated, without reaching a clear conclusion. Hormones, excessive oil production and factors such as how your skin gets rid of toxins and cells typically trigger acne. Contrary to popular belief, <span style="text-decoration:underline;">oily foods have NO connec</span><span style="text-decoration:underline;">tion to sebum excretion causing acne.</span></p>
<p>Experts have reached a consensus though. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Even if</span> foodstuff cannot directly cause acne, there is a strong relation between what you take into your body and the condition of your skin. The food you consume my not be a direct cause, there are factors contributing to acne outbreaks.</p>
<p>In a nutshell, you are what you eat. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">If you follow a healthy diet, you are increasing the chances of a healthy skin</span>. Acne is caused by an inflammation of the skin, so the first step is to avoid inflammation-triggering foods such as fatty acids and processed foods.</p>
<p><strong>Foods to avoid</strong></p>
<p>High amount of Carbohydrates.</p>
<ul>
<li>All carbs are eventually converted in glucose. There is a strong connection between gluten and acne, but this is only relevant when you are gluten intolerant. Your body needs only so much glucose. In a gluten intolerant person, they cannot sufficiently process the substance. The digestive system might recognize glucose as a foreign body, and try to expel the “toxin” through your skin. The best way to establish if gluten is causing your outbreaks is by a process of elimination. Eliminate gluten and high carb food from your diet for a few weeks, and see if your skin is improving</li>

<p>Sugary Sweetness</p>
<ul>
<li>Sugary substances will cause acne outbreaks for the exact same reason that carbs will- glucose. Carbs contains complex sugars, while sugar itself is almost raw glucose. This is believed to be the biggest acne-inducer out of all the food groups. Excessive sugar is also known to cause constipation. Natural bowel movement is vital to expel toxins in the body, including toxins that may lead to acne.</li>

<p>Fried Foods.</p>

Since these cells will not be healthy, it can lead to skin problems such as acne flare ups. Note that oily foods by itself will not cause acne, but only aggravate the existing condition.</li>
